    Can i do a direct replacement of my ko3 turbo with a ko4 turbo and not do any other mods and get better performance?

    2004 1.8T A4

    Ok so from extensive research i have found that i can run a ko4 as a direct replacement but will not see any improvement over the ko3 apart from top end,

    Question now is if i just change the turbo what gains can i get out of it if i do a remap and keep everything else stock ie injectors ect?

    Anyone help on this thread?

    Also where would i get the ecu and chip numbers without taking them out,
