Im going to be upgrading my HU to a RNS-E very soon and would like to (at some point) upgrade my cluster to one with a full color DIS. What is the going rate for a used one of these? Are they a rare thing to crop up on ebay etc.?

    My car is a A4 B6

I'm pretty sure B7 clusters look indentical.

The red DIS works ok from memory but theres a glitch with the arrows or something.

I dont think B& clusters are interchangeable due to the IMMO. Probably wont be able to justify the cost of this mod. I got a TDI for cheap running costs. with all the extra mods im doing it would have been better to buy a RS4 and just drive it haha

    Hi
    Have done this upgrade:

1)you have to get the correct colour panel for your car (Petrol/TDI, engine size etc) B7 and B6 are not interchangeable. Post your current instrument panel number and I can look up the correct one for you. Also post any extras your car has eg front/rear parking sensors etc.

    2) Once you have it, you need the SKN number for your car AND for the old car - This requires a special dongle and software (I had to buy this at 300 euros from Latvia).

    3) After this it is fairly straight forward with VagCom.

    Regards,

    W.

The car is a 04 B6 1.9 TDI Quattro Sport. I can find out more specific info like instrument panel number later if required. It has retrofitted cruise, possibly retrofit DIS stalk as well as its a sport. No bulb out warnings - just installed a HID kit which works nicely
