Should have gone for the S-Line shorts and sandals* combo. Glad they sorted it, glad you're happy. Just can't believe this is still going on, as Whippy says, it's not rocket science.

*No idea if that's a real thing. I hope it isn't.

OK, just wondered if it was Basingstoke, they did mine. very nice people though so I didn't hold it against them.

A keen mind might suggest somewhere Plymouthy, I don't have one of those.

Actually JannerAudi, when I first read the thread title I thought someone had stuffed their vehicle into the back of yours, knowing you'd just bought it and my heart sank. Did they do an S-Line Borat Mankini?

Still happening...had a brand new a4 190 ultra delivered and emptied the entire boot before I came across your thread, needless to say it's booked in.

Same here, got my new A6 272 on Wednesday, heard some knocks on Thursday and had the whole boot out one bit at a time to try and eliminate it...then read a similar thread on here, inspected and took photos of the stop out of its housing, booked into dealer on Monday at 7.30am (not the supplying dealer as i didn't get it locally due to price....).

The bizarre thing is, I couldn't hear the knock on Sunday, looked and the yellow thingy was back in its housing. Went to the dealer, they confirmed all ok now and made sure it was as far in as it could go so will keep an eye on it.

Just seems a very annoying thing that probably could be permanently fixed relatively easily to happen on a £50k car, its not what you expect really....
