Absolutely loving the MK7 Golf GTD, if anyone is thinking about it defiantly a great car.

I have the standard radio with the Dynaudio upgrade and the advanced bluetooth kit (great combination)

My question is can I fit the VW Sat Nav System at a later date (I know it wont be cheap). im missing having Sat Nav and am seriously tempted to folk out!!!

    Any help would be great

As it is sd card based you can buy it direct for £525 so it's not to bad on cost.

If you have the Mk7 it will have the standard 5.8" display. So you should just be able to add the sd card with the Sat nav on it. The dealer would still have to activate it though so don't try and buy one of eBay.

    Lee

The Mk7 standard screen is a different set up on the sat nav model, the more basic sat nav that uses the 5.8inch screen has a different set of buttons including a Nav button so it can't be as simple as just swapping the unit in the dash over!!!!

Where does the sd card connect?. Glovebox or dash mount. How do you get the art work to display?.

    Thanks, Rappy.
