    i have just bought a boost valve off of e-bay and i put it on today but it didn't work, it is the same as this, Item number: 110167528351 i put it in line between the dump valve and the throttle body (I think thats what its called at the front of the car) but the boost wouldn't turn up. have i put it in the right place? any websites or pics of anyone car will be helpful!

    You should do the research beffore fitting a dump valve to a 1.8 T. They dont really work as the ECU is particulary fusy and will trigger limp mode and throw fault codes every time its notices that there is a boost leak. Forge does a replacement recirculating valve thats better than the Bosch OEM one ! Search the forum for dump valve and read thoroughly !
