Map updates?

Ok so so far I can gather I don't need to update the software or anything. I can just update the maps to 2013 maps?

Any idea where I can get genuine ones from as I'm a bit dubious about buying things like this off eBay.

I think I have mmi high I think colour screen above centre console.

You can update the maps without doing the FW.

They are dealer-only. A new 2014 map is released on 17th of March.

There is a minimum MMI SW version of the later DVD's but I can't remember what or when.

The first 3 years are free with one released every 6 months according to the brochure that came with mine.

You can buy genuine discs on eBay or from a dealer . Take your pick, make sure you get one for the right year and version of car. I think pre and post facelift cars have different MMI versions?
