Coolant leak possibly from plastic piece just to left of thermostat housing

Hi, my coolant leak seems to be coming from near the thermostat housing but I think it's nearer the block, as you look into the engine area, the thermostat housing is below the inlet manifold, directly to the left of the thermostat housing is a small curved piece of black plastic that has 1 bolt in it and the other end comes from the block, what is this and could it be leaking?

Ok, to answer my own question, the piece I am referring to is called the "J" plug and is part number 06B103033A, not sure what it does, it is like a plug that is curved like a J and has a round diameter one end with an "O" ring that slides into the block and is held in place at the other end by 1 bolt. Apparently a common place for a coolant leak to occur. Not sure what other engines have this plug but certainly my BEX 1.8t does.
