You need to find artwork at 400 pixels x 400 pixels or less and embed it into the MP3/AAC tracks with software. There are a fair few choices of software that'll do the job, some are simpler to use than others, some will even go and find the artwork on the web for you before embedding. Offhand, I can't remember the software I used, but simply having a jpeg or whatever of the artwork stuck in the same folder as the music files will not work.

Agree - you need a tag editor such as MP3 tag and you need to check the album art is embedded in each file. I make 1 folder per album for the SD card. Be careful if you make your own compilations as the tag structure of the tracks can result in then showing up as different albums.
Probably in a pit underneath a steam loco somewhere.

If you're using itunes its really simple to embed album art into each track. itunes defaults to 1 image for the album and associates each track with that image but you need to go into a track, copy the album art, select every track in the album and go to properties and paste the album art... then just drag the tracks onto the SD card (no need to have separate folders on the card).
