Hesitates up to 30ish

I have a bit of an odd problem... When I drive the car up to about 30ish it hesitates and the revs drop, above this speed it seems to be fine, I've been told that it might be the Airflow meter? has anyone experienced this? and how do I check to see if it is that. Or might it be another problem?

1993 Mk 3 Golf 1.8 Petrol, 32000 Miles Full service history. I have had this car for about 1 year and its been fine until recently

Hi James.
If it was me, I would be getting her plugged in to the diagnostics machine. Your local mechanic should be able to do that for you. See what comes back and post the results.

Had it checked and it doesn't show any thing wrong? so any other ideas ?
