Vw Passat 1998 tdi 1.9 diesel saloon - my relays lie under the hood/ bonnet , with a few fuses, the main body or remaining of fuses are at drivers side panel.

My wipers wond shut off in off position, until 9 sweeps and then no guarantee of going off in the right position, The motor is fine , im guessing its the relay, however the relay looks to be number 370 (i say its the front wiper relay as when i pull it out the wipers stop i might be wrong it dosent seem to fit perfectly in either)) this sits next to relay number 53 (both are square relays).

Im not sure this is the right number relay for the wipers , can anyone help and tell me what number relay should be used for my model?

I know that relay number 377 is used in some models?
And what shoud relay number 370 be for?

Many thanks if you can help?
