    Hi Guys & Gals,
I have a problem with my aircon. At low speeds (i.e. Stand still to 20mph), I put the aircon on but it switches itself off after 30secs or so. It comes back on itself after a minute or so for about 10secs then goes off again. However, when the car is moving the aircon STAYS on and there is no problem.

I've tried re-gassing it but that has not resolved it. Is this a job for an aircon specialist or is their a common fault like the Seat Leon and the fault low speed fan sensor?

    Thanks in advance!!

Your cooling fan probably isn't coming on when the A/C is on. Turn on the A/C and see if the fan runs. When you are driving along, road draught takes over so the fan isn't required.

    Hi,
I don't hear the fan come on at all when i put the air con on. Sounds like that may well be the problem. If we assume the fan does work, where would the fan sensor be that tells the fan to come on? I'm thinking i could try replacing this before i try replacing the fan unit itself
