Account deleted

Hey there site mods

Any ideas how and why my account was deleted??? I just recreated it using exactly the same ID and also email address

Just checked all my threads and posts are there but even though my account name is the same the UID is not so I cannot edit or change anything

At least it proves I am in the right place

All your previous posts and threads are showing you as 'guest' this usually means you've asked for your account to be removed.

Has anyone had access to your emails or PC etc?

Hi

Unfortunately your original account was deleted a few days ago. Whilst the account was deleted all the posts that you made are still on the forum, with your old username, and the word "guest" under each one.

The reason the account was deleted was that the site has signed up to the Hotmail Junk Mail Reporting system, and the Hotmail Smart Data Network.. When a person reports an email from a member of these schemes to Hotmail as "Spam" this notifies the site that someone has reported the site as a spammer, which can blacklist the site from all Hotmail users.

In this instance it appears that you have received two emails from the site which were notifications or replies to posts that you made in the past, but you clicked that they were Spam in your email account.

The policy of the the site is unfortunately to remove any associated account which reports the site as a suspected spammer. I do have copies of the emails sent from Hotmail..

If you can remember what your post count was prior to this deletion I may be able to adjust your post count to the figure prior to deletion..

Interesting - I don't recall doing that but I may have accidentally when adding to my corporate outlook app

Oh well - no one got hurt

Thing my count was about 12388888 or something like that

Actually I have no idea but it's not important so don't worry about it
