Trying cheap Xenon / HID Bulb in my A6

Hi peeps ,

From a link provided by a fellow VWAF member I have bought these bulbs to try.



Packaged well, look constructed okay, will report back when fitted how things go.

What make are they etc?

Just plain white box, with markings you see in video denoting fitting type / wattage / colour K. The box/bulbs have no other markings of where made/from.

On bulb black section it have markings:-

CNLIGHT P32d-2
4300K C101C
D2S 35W[E11]0A1

The plastic containers are 3-4mm thick perspex and with the foam make for really solid packaging, whilst in the tray in box zero movement or knocking about.

Price was £9.50 for the pair delivered to my hands!

The fellow member which provided link has advised swap one and do comparative shots with the OEM Osram Xenarc D2S 35w 66040 bulbs, which I believe are from when my car rolled out of factory, Link:- Headlamps general brightness - Page 2

I've got a thread up somewhere too when my car decided it had an identity crisis and turn the drivers side xenon bulb pink
and it was a nice shade of hot pink too! Very embarrassing

The change in my case was very well and I went for the Osram ones that are ever so slightly blue. They are a massive improvement and days like recently where it's been dark, chucking it down and what generally feels like being in a tornado, the lights cut the weather very nicely BUT I have had a few people recently flash at me (and some just hold their beams on until they pass)
Possible that I've managed to mess up the lining of the bulbs but the auto-adjust still works fine.
