Gone but won't forget

Hi All,

Well eventually had to grow up and traded in the S6! Don't think I'll ever have a car that put as many smiles per mile on my face (you don't talk mpg with a V10) again, well not before the kids leave home....some time yet.

Thought I'd share some pics of the car I took just before it went, caught a break in the weather for a couple of hours.

Was going to sell it privately so had had the wheels refurbished and did the stone chips with a kit from ChipEx. Not bad for a car with 131k on the clock.

However, a Q7 of the spec I was looking for came up so bit the bullet and took the low trade in value. They say that they'll put it through the Auctions (in Bristol) after the plate transfer completes as the risk to them on selling a higher mileage car is too great. So in early March if anyone is after a fast Audi quite cheaply and they see OE06 WOJ it was mine!

Will post picks of the Q7 when the weather clears for enough time to give me a chance to clean it properly.

Lovely car! Moving on to bigger and better things I suppose, how long did you have the S6?

Bought it in December 2009 and it had 48k on the clock. Drove it most days until September last year when I bought a Citroen DS3 DSport as my daily commute and more than halved my motoring costs - not as much fun though!
