It's an 8V i think. Being new to Audi, the 8V is the newest shape?

Yeah 8V is the newest but the 8P continued into 2013 so there is a slight overlap of production.

If its 8V into 8P then there could be potential airbag issues and rail issues as its a new chassis so things might have changed. 8P seats (obv 3 & 5 dr have different seats) are all compatible with each other from reading online.

Thanks for the info. I have just got an 8P A3 and was looking into interior leather re-trim which is a bit pricey. Then I saw these: AUDI A3 Half Leather Interior Front & Rear Seats S-Line 2013: 8P 8V | eBay

Don't want to fiddle with airbags etc so back to the expensive re-trim

Why not just buy 8P leather seats?

I have looked around but the ebay ones that I have seen are a bit tatty. Is there a good place to look?
