GT Tdi lock n door cards help !!

Help!!

Hey everyone ,, ! i have a golf gt tdi and have had a break in and the drivers door lock barrel is broken ,i have just been to mr vw and purchased a new barrel and am goin to attempt to fit it on thursday but have no idea how to remove the door cards ,,does anyone have a link for a guide for removal or know how to do this ?? if pos could you please let me know !
Also a guide for reprograming the key fobs would be handy for a year 200 golf gt tdi many thanks ,...

YOU DONT NEED TO REMOVE THE DOOR TRIM.When you open the door there is a black plastic shaped circle about the size of a 10 p on the end of the door near the barrel.Popit out and there is a torx screw t 20 i think,now hold the outer door handle in the open position and undo the screw steadily until you feel a bit of resistance then wiggle the barrel bit out of the door.Fit new barrel and torn the screw back in.I use vag com for remotes but you can do it manualy and its covered on this forum.
