Ive noticed the carpet in the rear passener side footwell is soaked. It seems to be isolated to the middle of the car (about where the rear mat clip is) in the corner of the rear seat and tunnel. Checked for windows open, boot etc but cant see where its coming from. Is there any AC gubbings in that area?
    Any Ideas??

You got an Avant or Saloon?
I know with the Avant's there has been issues with the rear washer liquid leaking and I also have heard about when a drain hole at the base of the windscreeen gets blocked which can cause it too

Only a shot... have you checked to see if AC pollen/cabin filter is wet? if wet you may have drain blocked either on AC and/or plenum chamber in engine bay

Got home and pulled the plastic cover off to see if the drain hole under the windscreen was blocked. NS was blocked but there was no standing water. There is another under the servo I hear that I cant see or get to though. Not sure where the AC Pollen/cabin filter is to check. Where is the AC drain/plenum chamber.

I'm also interested in where these drains are as I think it might be the cause of my BT module issues. If someone could post pictures of the drains that we need to check that would be massively helpful, also what is the best method of getting the crap out/unblocking the drains?

    Cheers

Search on "Plenum Chamber" where are several "how to clear" guides on this. Regards Peter

Just found this on YouTube. Plenum Chamber Access 001 - YouTube Can anyone confirm the 2.7 (battery in the boot) has just one drainage hole behind the plastic cover under the bonnet? I heard there was one under the servo but I cant see.

There are two drains, and yes the one under the servo is difficult to see, You will need a good torch and a length of still wire. When you have pushed the debris our fluss the plenum chamber with a hose pipe then recheck the drains. Regards Peter

Thanks Peter. Thought that was the case... currently got the car running with bottom heaters on full to dry out but it looks like I will have to find a wire coat hanger and have a fiddle about. When I cleaned the NS one yesterday there was no standing water in there except in the drain itself so I'm hoping this is the problem.
