VW Golf 2007. Airbag light reset

I have a 2007 Golf plus and my airbag fault dash light stays on due to switching on ignition with the passenger airbag light unplugged. I understand this needs to be reset using a diagnostics tool and VW charge a fortune. Can anybody help please?

Good news - I've no prob helping out
Bad news - I've lent my cable out for a couple of weeks

Typical! Sometimes it doesn't get touched for months and I've had a run on it recently!

Yes, I'm in Cambourne near Cambridge but work in Harlow most days and could be there in an evening if that works.
