A3 rns e multimedia help please

hi everyone forgive me if this has been asked elsewhere but I'm confused about something and can't seem to get any answers. not any i understand anyway lol. im not clued up at all with car multimedia so any help or advice is much appreciated. i have an A3 tdi sline black edition 2009. it has has the rns e retrofitted mk2 i think. it has the media button and has also got the bluetooth module which works great with the rns e and factory iPod dock in the glove box. i now want to add to this by somehow connecting my iPhone 5 to it so that i can watch video and mirror other content to it. i have been told that its possible but not sure how. am i right in thinking that i need a multimedia interface adapter to add video or will the rns e already have one fitted as there is an iPod dock ? again sorry if this has been posted somewhere else on the forum.

You'll need something like a xcarlink or Dension as the factory fitted stuff won't support video.

Do a google for rnse video input and the above should appear.

Had a look at the above Chris. Would I need another module to connect? How would I power it?
