    Hi, I have a 52 plate 1.9tdi that I'd like to change the coolant temperature sensor on. Can anyone supply me with a picture or details of its location, please.

    What engine code do you have? (good idea to put the car details in your signature to avoid further confusion)

    Should be down the back of the engine under the fuel filter.

    I'd agree fully with replacing the clip from the top coz it makes life easier if it ever has to be removed again.
