Hi, just noticed the above issue with my B7 TDi. Sat in the car this morning and the windscreen was all fogged up. Never saw that before. Then when turned on the heater...the air blows everywhere except on the windscreen so I have to wipe it clear.

Whats going on? Are the 2 issues related?

    Regards

If the air is not coming out of the screen vent when the demister is selected on the climate panel you gave a stuck flap or jammed motor.
You can get to the flap and motor by removing the glovebox.
Take the glovebox out and watch for flap arm movement while selecting different positions on the climate.
If the motor is not moving the arm there us a post on here somewhere that shows how to remive the motor and re grease the wirm drive.
