Privacy Glass

I was wondering for those that have the above option, how dark does it appear from the inside?

While I like the looks from the outside, I am curious as to how much, if any, it hampers vision, especially in low light.

I have the slight tint that comes stock on the GT and it is pretty well configured to work at night. Ill get a pic up in daylight conditions

Got the option on my very recent acquisition but not sat in the back at all yet. Won't see the car in daylight unitl the weekend so I'll try and remember to have a look then.

I have a passat with privacy glass and driving at night I have not noticed it much to be honest and in the day you can see the difference but nothing that annoys me to be honest. I am pleased with them.

If it's any help our Passat has privacy glass. It's quite a light tint and you hardly notice it both from inside and outside. Not like a previous Mondeo where it was very dark and almost impossible to see through from inside unless there was bright sunshine.

I dont notice it, hardly noticed it when i looked at the car prior to purchase.

On my MK6 you barely notice it from the inside which is a little strange as it's so obvious from the outside.
I wouldn't have picked it on a brand new car before, but I'm quite happy that this one came with it so would in future.
