    Hi,
Are you still experiencing problems with the alarm/glass breakage sensors on your car??
I am having similar problems and would be interested to know if you got to the bottom of it.
    thanks

Removing the grommets ( there are 2, one under the battery and one under the servo ) is not ideal. The reason for the grommets it to let water out of the plenum chamber but not let air/engine fumes in form the engine/gearbox area. The air that enters the plenum chamber is from the postive pressure against the windscreen and this air passes through the pollen filter into the car. However at more than about 10mpg that is enough positive pressure to feed the pollen and force air out of the grommet holes. Regards Peter
