Now i am assuming that my Q7 has adaptive headlights. But they dont seem to move with the steering wheel, not like my old A6 did anyway. I would like to point out that i have not altered the coding since i picked the car up. And can anyone point me in the direction to enable the demo/showroom mode to test if the AFS is active when stationary?

I checked the coding and it all seem ok, but when i click "Do it" i get the following error.

    Capture2.JPG

    My coding indicates AFS

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated

When you turn the ignition on and switch the dipped beam on, do the headlights do their dance/test left and right like they do up and down?

    VCDS up to date?

On my recently purchased Q7 when parked they dont move but when rolling they do.
I found that if the light switch is on auto the adaptive is active but when you switch to sidelight or dipped position a message in the DIS says Adaptive lighting disabled or similar, also mine has the High Beam Assist and when in side/dipped you have to manually change the beam.
Have you tried going from auto to side etc to see if it disables then enables the adaptive lighting.
Do your fogs come on when turning slowly too as mine do?

Mine do turn quite a bit by the way and was strange when i picked it up the other week.

Check your PR codes for adaptive.

usually if adaptive is fitted they move left to right on the self test. Check output tests of Xenon Range as well.
