Started to tint the clear section of my tail lights. I'm using light smoke film which I am cutting to size. Have do the inner parts on the car tomorrow.

They look good, but I wouldn't do it because I don't think the reversing lights on my A3 give enough light because of my dark tinted rear windows.

Can you get brighter bulbs for these? I bet there are LEDs that would do it!

Job done, happy with the results. I wanted the lights to match the window tints.

Looks good. Did you put the film on inside the light casing or outside?

if outside, will it not peel off?

did you use laminx or something else?

    cheers.

Nope....the reversing lights use standard bulbs...only LEDs are the tail lights and brake lights....dont know why Audi didn't do the lot as LEDs. Really should get around to changing my reversing lights to LED as they really are crap!

Its just some ebay head light tint film. Its on the outside but you cant really tell unless you know what your looking for. It may peel off but I have used a heat gun and it seems to be fine... time will tell I guess but I have a fair bit spare in case I have to re-do it.

Yep, I like that. Very classy. When I first opened the thread I though you were going to have tinted the whole thing so nobody can see you in the dark - love it when people do that - NOT! But this looks very smart indeed. Good job.
