Hi all, sorry for another question... How do remove the silver trim that sits at the bottom of the s line bumper? Can it be done without removing the bumper from the car? I want to spray the trim gloss black to match my grill.

    thanks

It's the trim that goes under the front grill, it's gunmetal in colour, same as the rear defuser

In fact, if its anything like the A3 you should just be able to pull it out.

I have tried pulling it off but there is a flap which goes back into the bumper.

Probably need the under tray off or maybe the whole bumper off.

Send me a PM and I'll send you both anyway.

If its the front lip that you are talking about, it is held on with screws from inside the bumper. You will have to remove the front bumper to remove them.

Ahhhh ok, thank you. Might have to go back to the drawing board. Might leave it in place and use gloss black vinyl.
