It states in one reply by Crasher that all 1.6TDi VAG engines have this fault.. Is this true for the new 1.6TDi on the Mk7's as well...or is it too early for this fault to occur..

A Mk6 and Mk7 1.6 seems to use a different engine code.

However you'll still have the warranty obviously and the option to extend when its 3 yrs old.

I am looking at a Mk7 for later this year, don't no if it will be a 1.6Tdi or a 2.0 Tdi.. the fault has not been as often on 2.0TDi.
