    Out and about on my travels recently Ive seen a couple of facelift cars with black gloss grilles, on both SE + S-Line. Was this part of of an option pack or something to do with a certain engine choice? Looks the biz and wouldn't mind swapping my dull grey one with it.

    There was an optional extra of 4ZM in facelift cars (Black Styling Pack) - available on all models.

    No its not black pack. the last one was on a silver avant like mine with chrome grille frame, chrome windows and chrome bars. its the grill inserts that are gloss black

    no no its defiantly genuine, its a spitting image of mine but instead of dull grey plastic is a shiny gloss effect

    My paint shop have offered to do mine for £80, don't think it will look good without the fog plastic done in the same way (£40 more).

    Would imagine a fiddly job though to get the spray even?

    Mark, personally I don't think it would look as good as the genuine article

    Only problem I can see with spraying is when not if the stone chips start to show! I've plastic dipped my grill surround and that tends to bounce stones off lol...
