    try unplugging the MAF sensor and see if the problem disappears. Atleast then you know where you stand.

    Otherwise the work for me was super cheap.

    MPPS cable and software was a aliexpress job £15, the map was £20 from a forum member, and the blanking plate was £10 from ebay and took 10mins to fit.

    Cheers for the advice Sam, but I may actually have resolved this issue! Last weekend I did the old "drive it at 3000rpm for 15min" trick on the motorway, to burn stuff clean and I think it's worked! I did a 2x 2hour trips yesterday with some Wynnes extreme diesel system cleaner in for good measure, but I've not had the rev pinning issue.
