The maps, as you know, are a few hundred pounds, so this eBayer is profiting from selling Copyright material. With the MMI upgrade discs, the advice for any flashing/upgrading is don't do it unless your device exhibits the properties that the upgrade was coded to correct. Albeit low, there is a small risk that you could 'brick' your MMI during the upgrade. All it takes is a bit of fluff in the CD player, or opening the drivers door (volt drop of fuel pump and interior light) and it's bye-bye MMI.
One thing that makes me chuckle is there are copies of the MMI upgrade discs being sold for £50, whereas I got mine from the Main Dealer for £6.23...
