Hi, I am a newby to the Skoda scene, having been Vauxhall for many years. I have liked the look of the octavia estate for ages and have finally taken the plunge and bought a tidy 04 plate 1.9 elegance estate.
Performance compared to my old 1.7 astra is nothing short of awesome, but its early days and we will see how we go.

Everything seems to work, which is unusual on I car I have bought, apart from the remote central locking.

Looking at other posts on here, I have checked the wiring and plugs under the CD changer and all is ok there. Fuses are also ok.

The fault is; none of the doors lock/unlock on the remotes apart from the tailgate which works fine. The drivers door locks with the key in the lock, but nothing else operates. The switch on the door panel also only works the tailgate when its operated. Also the red led in the drivers door near the knob does not work. Windows, mirrors etc all seem to work ok.

I can cope with manual locking the doors for now, but would like the central locking to work if anyone has any ideas or suggestions.

I am a mechanic, albeit vauxhall trained, so wiring etc doesnt really faze me, but with a car I'm not familiar with and no wiring diagram, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance, Mark.
