Rnse multimedia adapter help

Looking at ordering one of these soon NEW! Plug&Play AV multimedia interface - RNS-E TV DVD - AUDI A3 A4 A6 | eBay

Has anyone got anything similar? I'm looking to use it with a reverse camera similar to this one here
Rear Reversing colour Camera + plate light for Audi A4, A5, TT, Q5 | eBay

Will I need to do a vim hack or VCDS programming to make this possible and also would it effect any of my current rnse functions such as nav etc and how hard a job is it to wire the lot in.

Did you buy it, fit it, any issues? We want to know more. In my limited experience anything added requires a code adjustment. Eg you don't have tv function on the tv/mp3 screen. Code change needed to add it.

I've recently posted a similar question about that interface adapter and if it is compatible with a mk2 rns e. When looking on eBay I contacted 2 different sellers. One seller said this would work and the other said it would not work properly. He said that you get picture distortion . So if anyone has a definitive answer that would be great because I don't know what adapter to go for to enable video.

Hi sorry have been busy fitting the cool box and cd changer in the glovebox but I will be hoping too purchase one in the near future

Ok so I purchased the above multimedia av adapter and can confirm that its works however when watching video there is some screen distortion at the top of the screen. I've connected it to my mk2 rns e. I'm not sure that this is the case for the earlier 192 rns e. Hope this helps

Yes it needed coding with vcds to enable tv mode in media source .
So I'm trying to find an adapter now that with actually work as it should on rns e

Great to hear and thanks for the feedback, are you useing a rear view camera with it?

No just video. I'm not fussed about camera. I'm having problems with a video in motion adapter tho. I've tried fitting it myself but no joy.
