Ah ok cheers saw the sticky- was hoping for something a little more exciting.... The only thing that would be cool is VIM but since mine won't play a video it's a non starter. Alarm chirp would be good but I'm not gonna pay someone just to do that.

The RMC has a firmware update I believe which will allow video playback via the red neck iPod cable too.

Really?? Do you have any info on it? Also is the ami connector still in the glovebox? I couldn't find it

Maybe under the armrest but it wasn't standard afaik.

I'll have a look shortly, seen someone mention it quite recently in this section.

Ah dammit!!! If it's not standard I don't have it then- it was standard on my C6 so just assumed; I thought when you specked ami they just gave you the cable
