This got out of hand and it wasn't the intention especially towards you Doc but you must understand I'm a hunting dog once I've got my teeth into something and right now thanks to the past 12 years and a loose cannon rich boy Yank named after his equally retardant father have shown me that far from having leaders to look up to they are infact the guy who steals your beer when you go for a leak, infact if I'm straight up about it they are the types I would have no problem hoofing a steel toecap into their faces they disgust me so much, and the other downside is they have 97% of the population under their control refusing to believe they are bad people driven only by their own greed, the saddest thing is I've noticed in my time if the leaders are good the people are good, if the leaders are bad so are the people, it's called setting an example,

If I could and had the means to start a commune I think I would and all would contribute, there would be no favorites and all would have all they need, this comes from former years of working cab offices, I watched all the tricks to move the good jobs out to the favorites (I could've been a favorite myself but it goes against who I am) and it's this on a larger level that is driving the world right now, Thatcher birthed it although it was going on before her time anyway she just gave it a green light, anyway at the cab office, DS was a naughty boy at one time and it meant DS may lose his driving license (another story) so DS becomes the controller for 3 different offices at different shifts through the week, DS gives the jobs out as they come to who they rightly fall to, at the end of the shift most drivers are telling me they've had a good night night etc and nobody looks like they got left out, so with that in mind by not circumventing things everybody got to eat and everybody got a cab on time, when DS didn't lose his license he goes back driving and the ******** take the radio once again, I had my own gang that would stay till 4am and they used to say they couldn't wait for 12am and my arrival, the reason was I had them buzzing constantly and buzzing means ching ching at the till, they didn't stop but on other nights it wasn't worth them staying as they then got all the crap while the favored got the cream,

One office I did a method they weren't used to, my method increased the job count by 40% and 20 years ago I had drivers earning £130 per night on a weekday night and guess what, a few complained about me, one even coffee and ciggied me a few times and said I've taken £145 tonight and then went to the boss who was also my mate and had a whine (there's that word again ) about my methods, go figure,

It's all things like this that have shaped and formed this now bitter and quite frankly bored entity that I now find myself, long gone is the optimism of a good life and a happy one (that's not cos of the other half btw) I see others who are supposed to have nothing and do nothing getting everything while I wade through a life of slurring sick producers and scum that doesn't want to pay me,

I've met thousands of different folks in my near 3 decades of cabbing and two stick in my mind and both were correct,

All very true words imo and probably why they've stuck with me,

I used to drink with a "genius" some 20 years ago who was 20 years older than me, he was an ex merch seaman and loved the black n tan, one of his many things he used to educate me was this,

And also, he at the time was looked at in sometimes bad lights and also as being crackers, he wasn't, he was just a good ole boy who still could party but I watched him many times try to tell people things and they'd listen and then when he wasn't about they'd ridicule him, funny thing is he's still about and a lot of his critics aren't, go figure.

As per above, I've just had a prime example of why I need to take stock and re-group myself,

I bought mum a tablet for Xmas, a nice newly released Droid one, as Droid is about as simple as making a phone call on a keypad you'd expect there to be no problems but tonight my TS line rang.........I can't, it's doing....this won't go away it keeps asking me etc etc,

So within 3 minutes of trying to sort it blind she shoves the phone down on me, as I paid a lot of money for it I thought it prudent to call back before her hammer fingers turn the screen into something resembling a well used ice rink, eventually we get there but talk about tear hair time,

Now due to her age and era I should really know I'm talking to a tech idiot that simply powering it on will be a challenge, we had that one Xmas day, press and hold until you see the screen boot, not press and wonder why nothing happens or press and hold until the button disappears inside the unit never to be seen again etc,

I reckon I'm an overtightened bottom E string right now and I need to work on that as it's no good to me or anyone in the blast zone tbh, I cleaned up my posts from last night as they read like I was venting at users when infact they were venting at the world tbh but they didn't read that way and were written during a beer induced coma,

Anyway this is why I've been saying I'm off for a while now, I intend to stay away if I can I'm not going to get Stu to close the account right now but I don't intend to post anymore and each time I don't that will be therapy for me as by not posting I will have gained enough to not rise to replying, I've been off smoking for near 2 months now so I know I can master my addictions and sadly the internet is an addiction to me so the bookmarks are about to get culled,

You all have a good new year and hopefully the next year will be one that's less of a struggle for us all, I don't need to get involved in the numerous Bulgarian Romanian posts that are going to crop up across the web, I've two Romanians working with me and they are no better no worse than any other immigrant in this country, one you can have really good chats with and he's very respectful towards others addressing them as Sir etc, the other is a bit of a lad but a funny guy with it so you may well find all that the media has thrown our way for race food is not the reality, you'll have to wait and see but I don't want anymore of it tbh and it's another good reason for me to be out of the loop regarding it.
