Audi TPMS

Im still on the hunt for a set of winter wheels and have now found a set of alloys that are the same as I have on the car but with no tyres so considering going down the route of buying everything separately. My question is, does the Audi TPMS have sensors in the wheels or is it the system that works off how much quicker one wheel it rotating in relation to the others due to its pressure?

Along with some winter tyres and if required, some pressure sensors.

After doing a quick google it seems the c7 platform uses the abs pulses so no valves to worry about

Btw don't buy cheap replicas

Whats wrong with replicas? Do they have known issues?

Not as strong as originals and some turn out to be a very poor copy when actually on the car.

Ad your centre bore is the same as the B8 A4/A5 and Q5 your choice widens a bit.

Im on a really tight budget for these though so need to be as cheap as possible.

At that price it's worth a punt. But yours are 20 inch. These are 19.

Yeah it will just help keep the cost down a bit. Dont mind loosing an inch for the winter.
