    anyone ever sourced these beyond a vw dealer. I had a go at soldering leds onto the legs , but the pins moved inside making the plug impossible to reconnect .and the dealers are asking £ 5.52 for each bulb/holder .

    I set about this today , and decided to bin the bulb holders , I soldered the leds up with a resistor to suit 12v , the legs fit snug in the power connector on the car , some insulation tape wrapped around and then shoved the lot down into the holes on the vents , I only wish id bought super bright leds , but the vents now glow red of some sort , £ 20 saved , to spend on new front shocks . jobs a good n ...
