    Hi guys,

Been looking at changing my Vw Passat Sport DSG for a few months now. I was looking at nearly new but have decided to lease a brand new one for 3 yrs covering 20k a year.

So far it has to be white & Dynaudio. Not sure if I should go for DSG. Does the golf have auto hold like my passat?

Also, best personal leases any ideas?. VW want £415 pcm. And Ling want £386 pcm

The manual Golf certainly has auto hold and works very well. Pretty sure DSG does too. Personally I'd give the standard audio in the Mk7 Golf a thorough audition before deciding on Dynaudio - by far the best standard setup I've ever experienced. Try out the 3 band EQ as well, it makes a lot of difference.

Thanks, does autohold come as standard on a GTD?. Not heard a standard system. Are local VW has a golf with Dynaudio and it sounds great!!! Just like my passat.

How do you rate the car? Performance & mpg?.

Auto hold is standard on the manual.

For me the car is excellent. Great balance of performance and efficiency. High quality interior - better than some "premium" brands IMO.
Handling is also a great balance - I didn't bother with adaptive dampers as it is still taught enough without being harsh and corners as flat and precisely as I would ever want. I think some people have gone for the adaptive to have the option of the comfort mode. Depends on your personal needs/preferences really.

I thought adaptive dampers was standard?. I have been looking at the winter pack as well.

I think the finish of the mk 7 is very premiumm. Any suggestions on lease deals?.

What spec is yours above standard?.

    Thanks.......

Have a look at www.nationwidevehiclecontracts.co.uk for personal lease. My current Mark 6 was leased via lingscars, but she couldn't get near what Nationwide quoted me for the GTD I've just ordered. Nationwide had a deal on when I ordered and the price was fantastic, just had a look now though, and that deal is no longer there. Saying that, I've just been on their site and completed an online quote for a GTD with solid white and Dynaudio and monthly payments are £317.50 with £1299 up front...
Current car: Golf 1.4 TSi Match 5 Dr with Luxury Pack and 17" Alloys.
On order: Golf GTD 5 Door in Tornado Red.

My Mk 7 2.0 tdi GT has Autohold and elec handbrake as standard.
Sound system as standard is fine.
If you want a smile every now and then, spec the parkassist. It always brings a smile to my face.

Ah, I do much less mileage than you and have my lease at 10k. Always gonna be pricey at 20k. Good luck.
