    Ideally I would just ramp the freq right down, but cant see how that would be done, but if im correct with my thoughts, it looks like i could just untick the following to disablethem completely? im going through about a gallon of washer a day and i notice they engage far to often for my liking!1.jpg

    Don't forget to enable them again for any forthcoming MOT. If you have both washers and xenons fitted, then they must work in order to pass the MOT.

    Sorry, just seen you said you don't know how to do that. I can't remember off the top of my head but it is possible, I've got the coding at home to adjust the frequency of the wash and can't post it up when I'm home if you like? Or a quick google will tell you how

    You'll disable them then complain when they're dirty when you need them most!

    Interesting VAG-COM codes for Audi A5/A4 B8/Q5, many for A6/A8/Q7 as well (by LoCal) - Audi A6 Q7 A8 A4 A5 Retrofit Jälkiasennus Nachrüsten Retro-fit

    Adjusting window/headlight washers and wipers: According to unconfirmed posts at motor-talk.de (see the original posts here for accurate information, in case my translation is flawed, Codierungen hier sammeln? Seite 58 : Sowas passiert nicht. and Codierungen hier sammeln? Seite 57 : Interesse besteht auf jeden fall... nur weiß ich nicht wie das...) in module Central Elect., adaptation channel 6 one can change the duration which the washers run, channel 25 the time of holding down the washer lever after which headlight washers activate and in channel 26 the amount of washer lever presses required to activate the headlight washers. According to these unconfirmed posts, to completely disable the headlight washers, change in module 09, coding, byte 20 from 04 to 00 and save. To disable the "one more wipe after some time" function in the window washer (Codierungen hier sammeln? Seite 56 : Das kommt wohl einfach auf die Wunschhöhe an. Der Spiegel kenn...), in module 09, coding, wiper control sub-module (WWS), long coding wizard, change byte 1, bit 3. There is also talk of disabling the rear wiper, perhaps a coding checkbox already in Central Elect. module in VAG-COM/VCDS (see below). Some of these changes may not work in all model-years and are unconfirmed.
    Or

    Set Headlight washer - Duration
    [09 – Cent. Elect.]
    [Security Access - 16] [Adaptation - 10] -> Channel 6
    change to e.g. 500

    Set Headlight washer - Cycles
    [09 – Cent. Elect.]
    [Security Access - 16] [Adaptation - 10] -> Channel 26
    change to e.g. 10
