    Afternoon All,

I have recently purchased an 2012 S-Line at 39k miles on the clock.

There's an issue with moving off in 1st gear on occasion (won't go into gear!), so it's heading back to the dealer for it to be looked into.

When I was giving the seats a clean today however, I noticed on the drivers side that some of the threads are unraveling making the interior look tatty. I think they are decorative and not functional, but still, it doesn't look good on an exec car.

As the car is still under warranty, do you think I should raise this as a concern when the car goes in? What are the chances of this being dealt with considering the cars mileage?

    Cheers.

Agreed. They'll definitely weasel quoting fair wear and tear. Good luck though.

    I will certainly raise it.

If the seats look like this at 2 years old, what will it look like after 4 or 5!? The seats will be a mess by then!

Not impressed about this on a car that costs circa £32k new - I didn't have any issues on my previous CC's interior.

That's probably why most go for leather.

But having said that, I had fabric (by choice) in my Passat Sport and after 4 years and 57k. they still looked as new.
