Rattle in roof lining

Anyone else got a light rattle in the roof ? Sounds like a wiring loom or cable tapping gently against the roof or lining. It's not very loud, but then neither is the ambient noise in this car. I have the factory sunroof, in case that's relevant.

Yes I believe have the same. It is a very light rattle or tapping sound and very difficult to localise but it does seem to be coming from the roof. I have the sunroof too so maybe it is related.

You haven't got any sunglasses in your overhead storage have you?

No, it's somewhere in the rear half of the roof, between the lining and the metal.

Nothing in my overhead storage either. The noise wasn't there when I first got the car, it has developed over the last couple of weeks or so. I tried opening & closing the sunroof to see if that would clear it up but it made no difference.

No but i have a rattle in the dash on drivers side. Been in at dealers (said they'd padded out wiring behind air vent) went away for a week then it's started again!!?!? Grrr
