Polo steering pulling to the left after steering rack change

Hi guys

Does anyone know why my 2003 Polo tdi would pull sharply to the left after ive had the steering rack changed. It was fine before the steering rack was replaced.

i took it back to the garage that supplied and fitted the steering rack but they said the rack was fine.

Ive had the tracking checked and adjusted several times but no change

Tyres changed

Alloys changed

I went to TPS to get a new steering rack and they said it was over £500 + vat, but they guy there said that the steering rack and pulling to the left are not connected

any suggestions will be greatfully received

This really does sound like something is either loose or not adjusted correctly

I would go another garage for a second opinion

Also check your wheels and brakes after a drive - if one side is getting hot the issue could be a binding calliper ... Maybe damaged during the rack change??
