  1. New car, old Audi member!

Hello, new to this forum here. But not the Audi scene. I am a member of Audi sport, but joined here as there seems to be more activity on the B8s!

So I did own until last night ;( an A3 8P2 silver 1.9TDi Special Edition.

I had a fair bit of visual mod changes, and no engine work as I wanted to keep the economy.

    Had the following work done:
18" Genuine VW R32 Gloss Black Wheels,
    Audi Front Black S-Line Grill,
    Audi Arm Rest,
    Audi Fog Lights,
    Audi Footwell Lights,
    Audi Facelift Tail Lights,
    Audi Chrome S3 Pedals
Audi Coming Home and Leaving Home Lights Feature Activated,
    Audi Alarm Beep Activated,
    Audi S-Line Suspension
    Cupra R front Splitter
    Rear Privacy Glass,
Carbon wrapped interior and b pillars.

Last night it sold for £5k devastated with the price but it had to be done to make way for my Audi approved B8 which I am picking up tomorrow!!

Will be looking for some VCDS done tomorrow?
Won't be doing much to this car tbh, have a baby on the way. Only looking at:
VCDS, tinting the rear windows, changing the wheels to the 10 spoke 17" alloys, iPod install, and LED lights inside, and number plate.
The car already has Bluetooth, parking sensors, auto lights/wipers, auto dimming mirror. 34k on the clock FASH.

So if anyone is in Swansea or Bristol who is available for some vcd coding then that will be brilliant!!!

    Thanks!

    Welcome to VWAF

Good shout on the B8, like them myself!

There is someone in Burnham on Sea and who is a regular member on here so probably could help pretty promptly with VCDS, username is MarkTM .. I can ask him to view this thread if you want?

Thank you Chris! Ah that would be amazing, esp if he was already passing or visiting Bristol anyway

    Got a PM from Chris

Weirdly was at Cribbs Causeway yesterday.which wouldn't have been much good if you'd not picked the car up!

May be back there Tuesday but it depends on work patterns, so let me know if suitable for you, or inded if you fancy a run down to me at the weekend?

Ah gutted. I am picking it up tomorrow morning 9am from Swansea. I'm not in a major rush for it to be done I can wait. Just wondering I have Audi hill hold assist...would I be able to activate the TPMS? How much would you charge for some coding mark? Thanks

I fell in love with the sline which my company gave me for a week while on a training course. Since that week 2 years ago, I said my next car would be the B8! Ha

Welcome aboard. I've had my B8 S Line for just over a year now. Still loving it.
