Hi all, I've just bought a Golf mk5 2.0 GT TDI and it seems a bit bouncy on motorways slightest uneven road and it bounces however this is not the case on back roads or going over road bumps :/ any suggestions as to what it could be?

I've check the tyre pressures, had to buy a new tyre. My boyfriend has had a quick look at the suspension but couldn't see anything that would cause issues

so all the shock absorbers, springs, anti roll bars, wishbones and associated bushes have all been checked for wear and play? How are the CV joints & boots looking?

Can't say 100% I'll get my boyfriend to look over the weekend The MOT did have advisories for the CV joint - excessive play but didn't fail so hasn't been replaced
