Got a passat 1.9tdi (53) 100 bhp & thinking of getting it re-mapped. anyone got any thoughts (in Liverpool area). Why is there such a variation in prices (Power tune £220.00 / Super chips £450.00)
Any horror stories or advice would be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Peter.

Sorry I cannot advise of any companies in your area, but I am sure there will be someone on this very helpful site that can advise you.As far as warranty is concerned I was assured that it was highly likely it would affect warranty,in other words don,t admit and play dump to the whole process. The company Angel Tuning also offered to return to original settings if required free of charge. So there is no big deal.My re-map has made a great difference to car in all ways and getting better everyday.I think its pushing 140bhp .My car has only 10k and would recommend it to you.Angel Tuning advertises in all areas so try and see.
