Hi everyone. I've just bought my sisters A3 Sport tdi off her and am in need of a little advice. Basically the car has been neglected since new with no service stamps in the book and an engine management light on so the first thing I did was take it to my local indy for a full service, Timing belt + water pump change and a general check over. When he connected to VCDS it threw up 35 faults. He sorted them all out bar one!! The Throttle valve or as he called it, an Engine manifold inlet flap. He says this part looks brand new on the car so I spoke to my sis who confirmed it did have this replaced. The indy fella reckons it hasn't failed but could be a wiring fault between that and the ECU but would need an auto electrician to look at it. Now I've trawled the internet looking for this and I found lots of people saying check the 10 amp fuse F8. Now either my car is built different to everyone else's or i'm looking in the wrong place because the manual says F8 is for Navigation and audio and is a 15amp fuse. I'm at a total loss . Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction so I can check this before parting with yet more Stirling. Thanks guys

Big stab in the dark here because theres loads of numbers on this sheet but they are............. P3102 - 000 - no signal. P3101 - 000 - open or short circuit to ground. P0691 - 000 - Short to GND. Hope this makes sense to you.
