    Hi Guys,

I've recently acquired myself a 2003 Audi A4 B6 Avant. The car has come with the standard Audi Concert single din stereo, and the Nokia phone cradle on the dashboard.

Needless to say, I don't use a nokia which is going to fit in this cradle and therefore I plan to get rid.. i've looked for a guide to getting rid over the site.. but was unable to find one. However, I have seen numerous bits and bobs which have thrown up questions.

Is the audi concert stereo bluetooth capable and therefore could I replace the Nokia cradle with one for my Nexus 4? I've searched cradles but all coming up are for either iPhones or newer Audi models.

I've noticed people talking about a phone cradle in the arm rest - Does anyone have a link to photos of how these look / where they are available from?

If i were to fit an aftermarket stereo rather than use the standard stereo - If i wanted to fit my own microphone etc. for the phone - what is the best way of feeding through the car, and do you have opinions of the best looking surround to ensure the stereo looks as flush as possible?

    Thanks,

    Dan.

If you have Audi phone prep you can get cradles for most modern phones from Audi. The Bluetooth module is not part of the stereo, its a seperate unit located under the drivers seat. You should be able to connect regardless of which cradle is fitted.

Oops the phone prep module is under the drivers side footwell carpet, but you do have to remove the drivers seat to get the carpet up enough to get it. Early Audi phone prep wasn't blutooth.

i have the same model n just fired up blootooth on my phone and paired them up ,it may ask for a code on your phone 0000 or 1234 should get you going.then everytime you turn car on your phone connects without having to do anything as long as bluetooth sitched on on your phone .then sound comes out stereo and you use original built in microphone.means leaving cradle in situ but least it works..
