    All, newbie here and still trying to understand the car after I bought it in June this year - B8, A4 AVANT S line 143bhp.

    I have just ran a VCDS scan after the engine emission light was on and it looks like i have the DPF pressure sensor common problem - I presume its the G450 one so will pop to Audi and refit and adapt as per the other thread on this matter
    1 Fault Found:
    5253 - Diesel Particle Filter; Differential Pressure Sensor
    P2452 00 [039] - Elect. Malfunction
    Not Confirmed - Tested Since Memory Clear
    Freeze Frame:
    Fault Status: 00000001
    Fault Priority: 2
    Fault Frequency: 1
    Mileage: 112078 km
    Date: 2013.11.08
    Time: 09:15:53
    Readiness: 0 0 0 0 1


    However, I also have this Xenon Range fault. Can anyone advise if this is really a fault as everything seems to be working fine.

    Relates to the tourist setting being ON in the MMI. Press CAR, then look for external lighting or similar and switch tourist off.

    Always wondered what that message meant at switch on and its been like that since I bought it

    Just had my DPF sensor replaced this week, running fine now.
