    Hi Everybody,

    Anybody got any recommendations for trolley jack and stands... having read a lot of posts, seems this ption is preferred to the ramps.

    Hi.
    If it is for your own personel use, I would be thinking halfords. You are asking for reccomendations, maybe sealey ?
    You should be able to get something decent from a local autoparts supplier.

    You'll need a proper jack something that will raise the car 18 inches or so, like this Sealey 3 TON Heavy Duty Trolley VAN CAR Jack Long Chassis 1153CX | eBay don't buy those crappy folding ramps either go for the ratchet type rated 3 tons

    Thanks guys, did a bit of research last night... Ive opted for the Arcan aluminium 2 tonne trolley jack from Costco and a set of the 3 tonne Arcan stands. Seems like they got a lot of decent reviews from various forums. Decided will probably use them for years so worth the money hopefully. Too many bad reviews for the cheap ones, read a funny few posts describing them as toy jacks....
