19, just bought my first car,

its a 99 v plate 1.6 sport A3 in the metallic dark purple, i wanna put some wheels on it but dont want to compromise the ride, im thinking a8 replica 17's?

    such as http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/17-rs8-audi-vw...QQcmdZViewItem

i really want to keep it true to the originals, no lexus lights or loud exhaust systems, subtle you see

car its self is mint, a real find, not a mark on it, just wanna make it a bit more unique,

in the short term i wanna get the 6 disc changer for the boot, ive checked and i already have the loom for it in the boot (audi concert) its a pin-plug clipped in next to the subwoofer, ive seen them going for a ton on ebay, anywhere i can get them cheaper

    thanks all

    Xx

    Great choice of alloys.

I like your style, staying with the OEM look. My bag.

Just keep an eye on ebay, search Skoda, Seat, Vw and Audi CD Changers.

    Sorry OEM means:
Original Equiptment Manufactuer: the original manufacturer of a product.

Original Audi Parts in other words.

Keep an eye on ebay and buy original alloys...not replicas. The metal on the OEM wheels is softer and it wont buckle/break as easy as the replica ones, on the non OEM, the spokes are hollow to make them light and the finish is not as long lasting !

only thing is, my tyres do need doing, no two ways bout it, ive got about another thousand to go before the blue johnsons will start to get angry,

do i spend a few hundred on tyres? or a few more to have wheels and tyres,

im not expecting them to be great, but 400 quid for 17's with tyres in the exact style i want?

shame ive not got unlimited funds, or id be having the ones of the showroom floor

    Xx

how much were you wanting to pay for your 6 disk changer, i have a spare in my boot, i have an aftermarket cd player in mine.
the salesman said it didnt have a disk changer, just the tape head unit, so i bought the fittings for an aftermarket cd player, got it installed then lifted the cover to change a light, and bang there was a changer.
never owning an audi before i wasnt aware they came with changers and where they were located
so let us know if your interested in buying mine....

Remember the ride hight will look higher the bigger the wheels and less rubber.

What size are you running at the moment ? I think 17's may suit you better, more rubber so a nicer ride. !8's maybe to harsh.
