2.0 tdi Mods

Hey im new to the A6 world and now own a 2.0tdi sline and was wondering what mods besides a remap give some gains?? I had a ibiza fr tdi before and done alot of upgrades and got some good gains from cross model mods like ibiza sport fmic and pd160 air inake. Are there any such mods that can be taken from other models such as the 170 or 3.0? Twin coolers , Air intakes?

No performance air intake mods that I'm aware of,just ensure your air/fuel/oil filters are changed regularly, I will now change my air filter every 10k miles as have seen the crud that builds up over that period.

If yours is an auto then also change the tranny fluid every 40k on the multitronic.

Prefacelift you should see ~170 from a simple remap, facelift 2.0 depending on whether its a 140 (you again should see around 170 with dpf removed) and im sure the 170 version should see or slightly over 200.

She's an 08 plate! Il try sort a pic out this evening! I don't think it's got a dpf filter tho! Can the twin coolers be fitted?

08 plate will be prefacelift, start with a remap and see how you feel with the power, after that then sort out additional things like exhaust etc.

whats your engine code? im thinking BRE, look at the data sticker in your spare wheel well or inside of your original service book.

Take a look in this thread. Even though these mods are being done to 3.0 TDI's (I think, from memory ) I'm sure similar things can be done to the 2.0 TDI. If you have the pre-facelift then you'll have no DPF which will be a great advantage.

Has anyone gone further than a remap?
